Deze high-end notebook is een echte alleskunner, zowel zakelijk als privé. Niet alleen is hij te configureren als de ultieme 17" multimedia desknote (audio-, video- en fotobewerking), maar ook kan hij worden geconfigureerd naar de hoge eisen voor high-performance game notebooks (en zwaardere CAD/CAM werkstations), mede door zijn verwisselbare videokaarten met hetzij DirectX9, hetzij DirectX10 optimalisatie en inclusief SLI support! Met speciale nVidia Quadro FX videokaarten is de notebook eveneens verder te upgraden naar een high-performance CAD/CAM systeem, geschikt voor professionele applicaties zoals Pro/Engineer Wildfire 1-3, Solid Edge en Solidworks. Stelt u zich dat eens voor, een compleet high-performance CAD/CAM werkstation dat u altijd bij u kunt hebben, thuis, op kantoor of bij uw klant! Daarnaast is de notebook ook uitermate geschikt voor de professional op audiovisueel gebied: niet behelpen met substandaard consumenten notebookjes (en voor het zwaardere werk terug naar de desktop op kantoor), maar voortaan heeft u high-end desktop performance gewoon bij de hand, sneller dan dit systeem čn in een handzaam formaat bestaat niet, punt.
Uitgevoerd met de nieuwste Intel Core 2 Duo/Quad chipset is deze notebook in staat om met zowel de nieuwste dualcore als quadcore processoren uit de voeten te kunnen. Met tot vier gigabyte aan intern geheugen, tot drie hardeschijven met een totale capaciteit van tot 250GB of hoger per schijf en tot 7200RPM, een of twee (SLI) van de beschikbare high-performance videokaarten en het hoge resolutie 17" breedbeeldscherm (tot 1920x1200) zal deze notebook ook op andere vlakken zijn gelijke niet kennen, ook niet met vrijwel alle desktop systemen en workstations.
Betreffende multimedia heeft deze notebook onder meer de optie voor een interne tv-tuner en standaard uiteraard een ingebouwde webcam module, surround systeem via maar liefst vier speakers en microfoon. Een 7-in-1 cardreader is vanzelfsprekend ook ingebouwd. Communicatie vindt plaats draadloos via WiFi en optionele Bluetooth module, bedraad via een gigabit netwerkkaart en via de telefoonlijn met een ingebouwd modem.
